Established in Bolton, 2005
Wyre Associates Electrical Engineer Training was established in the North West of England in 2005 by David Wyre, an electrical engineer and respected consultant in the electrical engineering industry for 30 years. Through his work as a consultant, Wyre saw the need for high quality electrical engineering training in the UK and decided to set up Wyre Associates to meet demand – with his skills, experience and surname it seemed the logical thing to do!
In the 5 years since it was established the business has flourished, and Wyre Associates is proud to have trained over 5000 engineers in a range of electrical disciplines, with an exam pass rate of 97% for our learners. Our team of tutors, headed personally by David Wyre, are all electrical engineering professionals who still practice, ensuring they deliver practical, up-to-date training with the voice of experience.
In 2008 we relocated to our current training facility, enabling us to increase the number of courses we offer, and we were also pleased to become an approved learning centre for City and Guilds and NICEIC in the same year. We offer a wide-range of electrical courses designed for electrical professionals looking to update their knowledge, skills and professional qualifications, and we were pleased to introduce our new ‘foundation’ and ‘introduction’ online electrical courses for non-electrical professionals.
